Squishmallows Micromallows Holiday Advent Calendar
This advent calendar stands out for offering a fun, daily surprise of 24 tiny holiday-themed Squishmallows, making it perfect for fans who love countdowns and collectibles. Compared to larger plush options, the small size means it’s less cuddly but highly displayable and giftable. The variety of characters like Benny the Bigfoot adds to its appeal, though some collectors may find the limited character size less satisfying for hugging. Its official status guarantees authenticity, but the tiny plushes might disappoint those seeking more substantial holiday decorations. This pick is ideal for those who want a festive, interactive experience without taking up much space.
Pros:- Includes 24 different holiday-themed Squishmallows for a festive countdown
- Compact size makes it easy to display or gift individually
- Official Squishmallows product with authentic seal
Cons:- Limited to small-sized plush only, which may not satisfy hug lovers
- Some characters may be repeated if part of a larger collection
Best for: Families or fans who enjoy holiday traditions and collectible surprises every day
Not ideal for: People seeking large, huggable holiday plushes or long-lasting cuddles
- Size:2.5 inches
- Number of Items:24
- Theme:Holiday/Christmas
Our verdict“This advent calendar is perfect for holiday collectors who enjoy daily surprises and small-sized plushes for display or gifting.”
Squishmallows Original Harvest 4-Pack – Official Jazwares Plush (Little) (Amazon Exclusive)
This 4-pack offers a well-rounded selection of plush characters, including Ulana the Turkey and Rhett the French Bulldog, making it ideal for collectors who want multiple characters at once. Compared with the Buddy the Elf plush, which is a single larger item, this set provides more variety for a similar price, though each plush is smaller and less suited for hugging. The plush material is ultrasoft and high-quality, enhancing tactile appeal, but its availability is limited to Amazon, which could hinder accessibility. It’s best for fans who want a mini ensemble of holiday characters to display or gift, though it might be less appealing to those seeking larger, more cuddly plushes.
Pros:- Includes four distinct characters for variety
- Soft, ultrasoft, high-quality plush material
- Official Jazwares product with unique personalities
Cons:- Limited to Amazon availability, reducing purchase options
- Small size may not satisfy collectors wanting larger plushes
Best for: Collectible enthusiasts looking for a small, curated holiday plush group
Not ideal for: Those seeking large, long-lasting hugging plushes or non-Amazon shoppers
- Includes:4 plush toys
- Material:Ultrasoft, high-quality
- Characters:Ulana, River, Rhett, Alberta
- Exclusive:Amazon
Our verdict“This set is ideal for collectors who want multiple holiday characters in a compact, high-quality package.”
Squishmallows Buddy the Elf 12in Plush
This 12-inch Buddy the Elf plush excels as a cuddly holiday companion, combining quality plush material with an instantly recognizable character from the Elf movie. Unlike the smaller Micromallows advent calendar, this plush provides a more substantial hug and serves as a festive decoration. Its official Warner Brothers license adds authenticity, but its single-character focus limits variety. The size makes it suitable for children and adults, but for those wanting a set or collection, this plush might feel limited. It’s best for anyone looking for a classic, high-quality holiday plush to cuddle or display during the season.
Pros:- Soft, high-quality plush material perfect for hugging
- Officially licensed with authentic styling
- Ideal size for children and adults as a holiday companion or decor
Cons:- Limited to one holiday-themed character
- Only available in 12 inches, no smaller or larger options
Best for: Holiday households needing a large, cuddly Elf-themed plush for decorating or gift-giving
Not ideal for: Collectors seeking multiple characters or a smaller, more portable plush
- Brand:Squishmallows
- Toy Figure Type:Stuffed Toy
- Character:Buddy the Elf
- Size:12 inches
- Material:Ultrasoft plush
- Official License:Warner Brothers
Our verdict“This plush suits those wanting a large, cuddly Elf for holiday cheer or decoration, not a set of characters.”
Squishmallows Original Holiday 4-Pack – Official Jazwares Plush (Little) (Amazon Exclusive)
This holiday 4-pack offers a selection of festive characters like Maritza the Cactus and Tinsley the Peppermint Latte, making it a versatile gift or display set. Compared to the Buddy the Elf plush, which is larger and singular, this set provides more variety at a similar price point, although specific size details are lacking. The plushes are ultrasoft and high-quality, with each character having a unique bio, appealing to kids and collectors alike. However, its appeal is limited primarily to fans of plush toys, and the seasonal nature of the set might reduce its usability post-holidays. It’s best for those seeking a small, themed collection or holiday gift set.
Pros:- Includes four distinct holiday characters
- Ultrasoft, cuddly plush material
- Unique bios add personality and collectibility
Cons:- Limited to plush collectors or holiday fans
- No size info makes it hard to gauge hugging potential
Best for: Holiday gift buyers or collectors wanting a variety of festive plushes
Not ideal for: People wanting larger, more durable plushes or non-Amazon shoppers
- Includes:4 Squishmallows
- Characters:Maritza, Stevon, Clayton, Tinsley
- Material:Ultrasoft plush
Our verdict“This set is well-suited for gift givers and collectors looking for a small, festive plush ensemble.”
Squishmallows Original Holiday 4-Pack – Official Jazwares Plush (Little) – Amazon Exclusive
This festive 4-pack features characters like Ingred the Purple Cow and Luna the Penguin, all crafted with ultrasoft fabric for cuddling. Compared with the other holiday sets, it emphasizes unique, character-driven designs with bios that appeal to kids and collectors alike. While the plushes are adorable and soft, their small size may limit hugging for some, and the lack of specific dimensions could be a drawback for those seeking larger plushes. Its exclusive Amazon status makes it easy to buy, but the seasonal theme may limit its long-term display value. This set is best for those wanting a colorful, character-rich holiday plush collection for children or as a seasonal gift.
Pros:- Festive and adorable holiday characters
- Ultrasoft, cuddly material
- Includes unique bios for added personality
Cons:- Limited to holiday-themed characters
- No specific size details available
Best for: Parents and collectors seeking a small, colorful holiday plush set for kids
Not ideal for: Those wanting large, long-lasting cuddle plushes or non-Amazon shoppers
- Brand:Squishmallows
- Toy Figure Type:Plush
- Quantity:4-pack
- Material:Ultrasoft fabric
- Exclusive:Amazon
Our verdict“This set is great for holiday-themed collections or gifts, especially for children who love colorful plush characters.”
Squishmallows 8in Fleur the Yule Log with Holly – Official Holiday Plush
This plush stands out for its high-quality, soft material and charming holiday design, making it a delightful addition to any festive collection. Compared with the 12-inch Galci the Raccoon, Fleur is more approachable for children who want a cute, manageable size that doubles as a holiday decoration. However, its limited use outside the holiday season and availability only in an 8-inch size are notable tradeoffs. The detailed bio and festive theme enhance its appeal, especially for those looking to add character to their holiday décor. This pick is ideal for families seeking a soft, themed plush to cuddle and decorate with during Christmas, but less suitable for collectors wanting a display piece year-round.
Pros:- Soft, high-quality plush material for cuddling
- Unique holiday design with a festive theme
- Includes a fun bio and character backstory
Cons:- Limited to holiday use, reducing versatility
- Only available in an 8-inch size, which may be small for some
Best for: Parents or gift-givers wanting a festive plush that doubles as holiday décor and cuddly companion for kids
Not ideal for: Collectors seeking versatile, year-round plush toys or those needing larger or multi-size options
- Brand:Squishmallows
- Toy Figure Type:Stuffed Toy
- Character:Fleur the Yule Log with Holly
- Model Name:Style 1
- Unit Count:1
- UPC:191726929956
Our verdict“This plush is perfect for those wanting a charming holiday-themed cuddly toy and decoration, but less ideal for year-round use or larger display needs.”
Squishmallows Micromallows Holiday Wreath 4-Pack
This 4-pack of tiny 2.5-inch Micromallows offers a fun, collectible way to add holiday cheer to small spaces or gift exchanges. Unlike the larger 12-inch Galci the Raccoon, these mini plushes are ideal for decorating miniature trees, stockings, or gift toppers. Their small size makes them less suited for cuddling, but perfect for collectors or holiday displays. Some users note that the plush feels less soft than standard-sized Squishmallows, which might disappoint those expecting plush quality similar to larger counterparts. This set makes the most sense for collectors or holiday decorators seeking a compact, adorable, and themed set, but less so for children wanting larger plush toys for play.
Pros:- Adorable holiday-themed characters in miniature size
- Great for display, gifting, or stocking stuffers
- Includes four iconic holiday characters for variety
Cons:- Small size may not appeal to those wanting larger plush toys
- Less soft feel compared to larger Squishmallows
Best for: Holiday collectors or decorators needing small, themed plush figures for displays or gift exchanges
Not ideal for: Children seeking plush toys for cuddling or play, due to their small size and less plush-like softness
- Brand:Squishmallows
- Toy Figure Type:Stuffed Toy
- Sub Brand:Micromallows
- Model Name:Style Number – SQMM0265
- Unit Count:1
- UPC:191726976417
Our verdict“This set is a charming, space-efficient choice for holiday decor and collectors, but less suitable for cuddly play or children needing larger plush toys.”
Squishmallows 12-Inch Christmas Holiday Puffer Jacket Plush Toy – Galci the Raccoon
The 12-inch Galci the Raccoon features a festive puffer jacket design that captures the holiday spirit, making it stand out among other plush toys like Fleur. Its larger size offers a more substantial cuddly experience and makes for a striking holiday display piece. However, as a limited edition for 2025, its availability is restricted, and it’s less versatile outside of Christmas. Compared to the smaller Fleur, Galci provides a more impressive presence, but its seasonal exclusivity means it’s less suited for year-round display. This plush is ideal for collectors and those wanting a larger holiday-themed toy, though it might be less practical for everyday cuddling or gifting outside the holiday season.
Pros:- Festive, eye-catching holiday design
- Larger size perfect for cuddling and display
- Limited edition makes it a rare collectible
Cons:- Limited availability, making it hard to find later
- Season-specific, less useful outside Christmas
Best for: Collectors and holiday enthusiasts seeking a festive, limited-edition plush with display appeal
Not ideal for: Those wanting year-round plush toys or a budget-friendly option, due to its limited availability and seasonal nature
- Size:12 inches
- Design:Festive puffer jacket
- Character:Galci the Raccoon
- Edition:Limited holiday 2025
Our verdict“This plush suits collectors and holiday decorators looking for a festive, larger piece, but isn’t ideal for year-round use or everyday cuddling.”
Squishmallows 10-Inch Cam Cat Holiday Plush
With its soft, cuddly texture and adorable holiday theme, the 10-inch Cam Cat is a versatile choice that appeals to both kids and collectors, similar in size to Fleur but with a different character appeal. Its compact size makes it portable enough for travel or snuggling, but it’s limited to a single character design, which may disappoint those looking for variety. Unlike the 12-inch Galci, Cam Cat’s smaller size makes it more suitable for everyday play, yet it may be too small for older children or those who prefer larger plush toys. This plush makes the most sense for those wanting a cute, holiday-themed gift that’s easy to carry around, but less so for collectors seeking a diverse display or for children needing larger toys.
Pros:- Super soft and cuddly for comfort
- Adorable holiday-themed character design
- Perfect size for travel and snuggling
Cons:- Limited to a single character design
- May be too small for older children or display-only collectors
Best for: Parents shopping for a cute, holiday-themed plush for young children or for collectors wanting a smaller, portable plush
Not ideal for: Older children or collectors seeking larger, more display-worthy plush toys for holiday collections
- Brand:Squishmallows
- Model Number:SQXM00705
- UPC:196566384064
- Size:10 inches
- Age Range:24 months and up
Our verdict“This plush is ideal for young children or portable gift-giving, but less appealing for those wanting larger or more varied holiday plush collections.”
How We Picked
To determine the best squishmallows holiday options, I evaluated each product based on plush quality, holiday theme relevance, size versatility, price, and uniqueness of design. Products that offered exclusive holiday features or multi-packs were prioritized for value. I also considered consumer reviews and popularity metrics to gauge overall satisfaction and appeal. The ranking reflects a mix of affordability, collectible appeal, and suitability for gifting, ensuring options for different buyer preferences and budgets.Factors to Consider When Choosing Squishmallows Holiday List
When choosing squishmallows for the holidays, consider several key factors beyond just appearance. Size is important: smaller plushes work well as stocking stuffers, while larger ones serve as holiday decor or main gifts. Look at the design details—more intricate designs may appeal to collectors, but simpler styles often cost less. Price range varies widely, so decide how much you’re willing to spend for quality and exclusivity. Additionally, consider whether you want themed sets or individual plushes, as sets often provide better value but limit character choice. Finally, durability can matter if the plush will be played with frequently or used as a travel companion.Size and Display Options
Size influences how a squishmallow fits into your holiday plans, whether as a gift, decoration, or plush companion. Smaller sizes like 8-10 inches are perfect for stockings or travel, while larger plushes, such as 12 inches or more, make eye-catching holiday decor pieces. Consider your storage space and how the plush will be used to avoid purchasing a size that doesn’t fit your needs. Keep in mind that larger plushes tend to be more expensive and may require more care. Balancing size with intended use ensures you get a plush that suits your holiday setup or gifting goals.
Design and Holiday Themes
Holiday-themed designs are a major selling point, but not all designs are equally appealing or versatile. Some plushes feature classic Christmas motifs like holly and snowflakes, while others incorporate characters like elves or reindeer that can be used year-round. Detailed designs might appeal more to collectors, but simpler, cute styles are often more universally loved and affordable. Think about whether the plush will be a focal point in your holiday decor or a gift recipient’s favorite plush, and choose accordingly.
Price and Value
Prices for squishmallows range from budget-friendly micro sizes to premium collectible sets. Sets like advent calendars or multi-packs usually offer better value per plush, especially if you’re buying for a group or multiple recipients. However, premium limited-edition plushes often feature more detailed craftsmanship and unique designs, making them worth the extra cost for serious collectors. Be mindful of your budget, but remember that investing in higher-quality plushes can mean better durability and lasting appeal.
Set vs. Individual Purchases
Deciding between sets and individual plushes depends on your gifting strategy and budget. Sets typically provide a variety of characters and themes, ideal for spreading holiday cheer among multiple recipients or creating a festive display. Individual plushes allow for more personalized choices, especially if you know the recipient’s favorite character or theme. Sets can be more cost-effective but limit character selection, so consider what matters most to you—variety or personalization.
Durability and Usage
Since holiday plushes often become part of seasonal decor or gifts, durability can be important. Look for plushes with reinforced seams and high-quality fabric if they will be handled frequently or used by children. Some plushes, especially those with intricate details or delicate accessories, may require gentle care. Choosing well-made plushes ensures they will last beyond a single season and can be cherished year after year.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are squishmallows suitable for young children during the holidays?
Squishmallows are generally safe and soft, making them suitable for young children, especially the smaller sizes. However, always check for small parts or accessories that could pose a choking hazard. For very young kids, opt for plushes that are specifically labeled as safe for all ages. These soft, cuddly plushes can become a comforting holiday companion, but supervision is recommended if they include detachable features.
How do I choose between a set and an individual squishmallow for holiday gifting?
Choosing between a set and an individual plush depends on your gifting goals. Sets are excellent for spreading holiday cheer among multiple recipients or creating a festive display, offering more variety at a better overall price. Individual plushes allow for a more personalized gift, especially if you know the recipient’s favorite character or theme. Consider your budget, recipient preferences, and whether you want to give a single meaningful gift or multiple smaller ones.
Are limited-edition squishmallows worth the extra cost during the holidays?
Limited-edition squishmallows often feature unique designs and higher craftsmanship, making them appealing to collectors and fans. While they tend to be more expensive, their rarity can add a special touch to holiday gifting or decor. If you value exclusivity and plan to keep the plush as a keepsake, investing in a limited edition can be worthwhile. However, for everyday use or casual gifting, more standard options may provide better value.
What size squishmallow is best for holiday decorations?
For holiday decorations, larger sizes like 12 inches or more generally make a stronger visual impact on shelves, mantels, or as part of a festive display. They are more prominent and can serve as a centerpiece or statement piece. Smaller sizes, such as 8 or 10 inches, are versatile for table settings or stocking stuffers, but they may not stand out as much in a decorated space. Choose size based on your display space and aesthetic goals.
How can I ensure the squishmallow I buy is high quality and durable?
To verify quality, look for plushes with tightly sewn seams, high-quality fabric, and no loose threads or weak spots. Read customer reviews to gauge durability over time, especially if the plush will be handled frequently or washed. Higher-priced plushes often feature better craftsmanship, but many mid-range options are also well-made. Proper care, such as gentle washing and storing in a dry place, will extend the life of your holiday squishmallow.
Conclusion
For those seeking the best overall squishmallow for the holidays, the Micromallows Holiday Advent Calendar offers a festive countdown experience ideal for families. If you want the best value, the Holiday 4-Pack sets combine variety and affordability, perfect for gifting multiple loved ones. Collectors or fans of detailed designs should consider premium options like the Fleur the Yule Log plush. Beginners or those new to squishmallows will find smaller sizes and sets easier to start with, while dedicated collectors might prioritize limited editions. Ultimately, your choice depends on whether you want a versatile gift, a display piece, or a collectible keepsake for the season.Fall Picks
